Unusual vintage Sata-Lite color wheel for mid-century modern aluminum Christmas tree made in the 1950's by the Evergleam Company, a manufacturer of aluminum Christmas trees. The retro light features a very "space-age" shape with a silver and black housing on an adjustable tripod. The light can be positioned by loosening/tightening the wing nut that holds the light to the tripod. The housing holds a new LED floodlight which shines through a rotating multi-colored glass disk. The original noisy gear motor has been replaced by a quiet new electric motor. The light bulb and motor are accessible by removing the silver cover (single screw). There is minimal paint wear, consistent with age. The housing is about 9" long, 8" diameter at the lens ad 5" diameter at the base. When assembled on the adjustable tripod, it is about 12" x 12" x 12". The color wheel light is in good used vintage condition and will really make your silver tree shine!
