These shoes are very nostalgic to me. Almost 15 years ago, I started doing Window Displays with a friend. One of the windows was for an iconic shoe store at the 6 corners of Wicker Park in Chicago. We did those windows for around a year and one of them we did on shoe trade. At the time these were insanely indulgent to me and I never, ever wore them for how precious they felt. I did finally wear them a handful of times and they did get a few nicks in the leather. I just got them back from the cobbler and he replaced the heel bed and cleaned them all up. They look really good, but please note the imperfections. They remind me of sort of an anime style.
