This is a John DeMott Brutalist brass hot air balloon sculpture.
It was designed by American artist John DeMott during the 1970s.
The sculpture features an art glass "envelope" and a brass framework.
Beautiful colored marble looking Glass Hot Air Balloon sculpture . Copper metal around the glass balloon with carry bucket at the bottom with ladder and hanging weights and anchor. Truly a collectible at 28 inches long and approximately 7 inches across. The beauty of this is not shown enough in these pictures. It has so much detail.
