This is a rare vintage "Crown Trifari" "Hans" figural brooch designed by the master jeweler Alfred Philippe in the 1940s.
The brooch features a whimsical Dutch boy design crafted in a bright gold-tone finish over Trifanium base metal.
It is accented with a faux pearl head, vibrant sapphire-blue glass rhinestones on his hat, and sparkling clear crystal rhinestones (known in the era as "Diamante") on his hands and feet.
The piece bears the iconic "Crown Trifari" hallmark on the reverse.
A patented design from 1945 (Patent No. D142,665 for reference, though the number is not stamped on this specific pin).
