This is a very rare hardback copy of this book, hand numbered 18/50. It was inscribed by the author Walter Newkirk on 10/23/2009, and he thanks the person for supporting the book. He also mentions the Rutgers Targum, the university's student newspaper that was founded in 1869. Walter Newkirk attended Rutgers in the 70s and worked on the newspaper. The book is in great shape with no rips or tears or writing, other than Newkirk's signage. There is no slip cover for this book.
The book is 9X11 and has 88 pages of Little Edie Beale's letters to Newkirk, along with pictures, drawings, and paintings of Edie. A must-have for any Little Edie Beale collector!
