The debut work of Masamune Shirow, a manga artist with a worldwide fan base for "Appleseed" and "Ghost in the Shell." Set on the super-ancient Venus, it depicts the rule of computers and bioroids, the battle between science and magic, and the battle against the killing machine M66, which was also made into an original anime video, including "Booby Trap." This is a work that is the root of the later Shirow world.

Masamune Shirow
A Japanese manga artist and illustrator.
Born in Fukiai-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture (now Chuo-ku). Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts (Oil Painting) at Osaka University of Arts. He obtained a teaching license for art at university.
He published "Black Magic" in the doujinshi Atlas. In 1985, he made his manga artist debut with the single-volume book "Appleseed" without serializing in a magazine. In 1991, he released the comic "Ghost in the Shell," which gained high popularity overseas, including in the United States, for its detailed story and realistic action. Since then, the work has been made into many media mixes, including theatrical anime, TV anime, live-action films, novels, and games.
Representative works include "Appleseed" and "Ghost in the Shell."

There is yellowing due to aging, stains, scratches and scuffs on the cover, but it is generally in good condition.
