This is a fantastic Italian Archimede Seguso for Chanel glass link necklace. In the 1960s Chanel commissioned Seguso, a highly regarded Murano glass artist, to make jewelry to accompany her couture collections. Seguso presented an ingenious design: frosted glass link jewelry that formed the interlocking Chanel logo. Between each C are small gold tone end caps, with interspersed clear rhinestone rondelles. The necklace has the gold tone box clasp marked AS. This necklace is 32" long.
There are 2 chipped links and one cracked link that I can see, and those have been photographed. The plating is worn to some extent on all the metal pieces as I have photographed (and I believe is pretty common on these necklaces).
