A matched grouping of five antique prints / engravings from Francis Wheatley’s iconic Cries of London series. The engraver is listed as Luigi Schiavonetti. Each measures approximately 10.5" × 8" and is numbered in the 800s of what appears to be a limited edition of 1,824 (see last picture). Next to the numbering is a logo featuring the letters NKH at each corner of a triangle logo with a bold central initial (Either a D, P, or R). All are housed in their original early 20th-century wood frames by Gus Rochefort, The City Frame Co., 34 Coleman Street, London E.C., preserving authentic period charm and provenance.
Some minor wear to wood frames. Prints display some minor age related toning but are overall in good condition. See pictures for further details on condition.
