Deep cranberry ground with lavish hand-applied gilding and a Rococo courting couple transfer (after Fragonard) framed with ornate gilt scrollwork. The interior of the flared spout and the elegant handle are richly gilded. Maker: Limoges Castel, France (blue shield backstamp) Height: approx. 10 cm Excellent – no chips, cracks or repairs. Only the lightest age-related wear to the gilt.
