Rare Vintage Avant-Garde Draped Shirt – Q Silvia - Dijon Yellow (Size M/L)

A stunning and highly unusual vintage blouse with sculptural draping and multiple styling options. Made in Benelux by Q Silvia, Singel (861), in a dijon yellow viscose blend with subtle green undertones in the sheen. Benelux = Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg. In fashion labels from the 70s–90s, this was sometimes used instead of specifying a single country. This is a sign of this garments rarity. Fabric is 67% viscose, 33% polyester – soft, drapey, structured. Dijon yellow with olive/greenish sheen depending on the light. Sizing approx M-L depending on desired fit...oversized/relaxed fit possible. Model is size M. Excellent vintage condition – minimal signs of age. • Classic collared button-up base (front closes with 4 buttons, last closure at belly button; hem hangs open below) • One ornate diamond-look button at the bust (different from the others) • Two extra-long fabric panels starting from each hip, draped diagonally across the body to button onto ornate metal buttons at the shoulders (see pictures) • Convertible: panels can be unbuttoned and re-draped in different ways, including a dramatic criss-cross at the back (see pictures) • Creates flowing, structured folds across the body – architectural in silhouette • Back details: shirt extends to upper thigh with a buttoned opening down to shoulder blades • Dolman sleeves Measurements taken with garment laying flat...
